Man found shot, dead in crashed van in Racine identified
Apr 20, 2018Police did not say where Brown is from, but funeral services are planned for Monday, March 26, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.At 10:36 p.m. on March 18, the Racine Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Arlington Avenue for a report of shots fired, according to a department news release. Police also received calls about a possible accident involving a minivan that had struck a tree.A Dodge Caravan was located in the yard of 2328 Arlington Ave. The operator of the Caravan, Brown, was found inside and unresponsive. According to the release, police discovered Brown had been shot. Lifesaving measures were taken but were unsuccessful, and Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.No further information on the investigation had been released as of Sunday.Racine police investigators are interested in any additional information anyone may have about this apparent crime.
